Snowed In: Rachel Hawthorne

Hey guys! Too long since the last book and the first ever book review. Sometimes I think this blog is just something for me to have about books, like an online diary without you guys knowing that I read sometimes in the bathroom. It's not big deal. *hangs head in shame* But here's a way new book by one of my favorite authors: Rachel Hawthorne!

Ashleigh Sneaux has lived in Texas her whole life. That is until, her dad decided to remarry and her mom decided to move all the way to the north. To an island. To host a bed and breakfast hotel for guests. Ashleigh has never even seen the cold, so she was pretty excited until she got there. Who knew that it would be THAT cold?
Meeting her 'new best friend' Nathalie who refers to her boyfriend as 'my boyfriend' never by name, and Chance who's a player but asks Ashleigh out but also secretly craves for Nathalie. And then there's Jake. The carpenter guy, who turns out to be Nathalie's boyfriend. And who keeps on thinking about here, and also why is she even thinking about him? She's not even looking for a boyfriend. Ashleigh becomes more sure of herself as the story goes on, and finds out that true love is in the midst, even for her.

For me: I loved this boook! It's hilarious, beautiful, and makes me want to hug it. If you love any of Rachel's books I suggest you go for this. Or, any romantic comedies. *sigh* I do love those.

Peace until the next review!

Pretty Little Devils: Nancy Holder!

Okay, okay. We all know I'm a littttleee late on this book. I started reading this book around last year when one of my friends lent me it. She needed it back, so I only got around to what, like page 22? So yes. I finally read it! I held it at the library, and checking my email like obsessively for the next few days.
And then suddenly, the beautiful words: "Your hold is now ready" CAME UP! I literally jumped for joy. Oh, joy joy joy. (:

Mkay to the review: Hazel Stone (great name by the way) has started her junior year at her high school. Her only friend, Joy, had moved on to a new school, thus leaving Hazel with some friends she you know, didn't really want to be friends with. What she wanted was to be accepted in the Pretty Little Devils, a group of friends at her high school.
Suddenly, Sylvia Orly, the head of PLD invites Hazel Stone to a party! Then it all comes down to Sylvia and the rest of her friends, inviting her into PLD. Yes, I know. So cool!
The group thrives themselves on scary horror movies, babysitting parties, and pranks. A lot of them. Then Hazel suddenly gets caught up with Matty - a total hunk she had her eye on and who didn't really seem to acknowledge her.
But then all the members of the PLD start getting scary text messages and phone calls during their babysitting jobs. PLD: more scarier than you thought.

ME: So I thought this book was super cool! I loved how some of it was told through PLD chat rooms, then to a blog of the anonymous killer (wow, did I mention that?), and then your chapters. It's a GOOD read! If you loved Project 17 - YOU WILL LOVE THIS. With its twists and turns, it kept me reading. Gosh, my mother bothers me so much DURING GOOD BOOKS! During boring books, which I haven't really seen much of, it's like "Oh, Anum's reading...better leave her alone..." SO yes. READ children! It's really like really good. *jumps up and down*

Ooops, I got Marked again..

Kristen Cast and her mother, P.C. Cast join together for an unforgettable series! Yeah, we know there are a lot of vampire books coming out, but these are unique!

Zoey Redbird, upon being Marked (which means having a crescent moon tattooed on your forehead) has to go to the House of Night, a vampyre finishing school, and if she won't...she'll die. Being Marked is bad enough, according to her mother and her stepfather but soon she's comfortable there with some new friends. But, the leader of the Dark Daughters, Aphrodite, is wreaking havoc on the House of Night, so Zoey; who's been actually given powers from the vampyre goddess Nyx, sets out to store things right. It also doesn't help that she craves her ex-boyfriend's blood.

Readers of Twilight, Vampire Kisses, or any fantasy novel will be sure to be hooked on these!

Johnny Depp...*sigh*

Hahaha, gosh. Any Johnny Depp lovers anywhere? I am a HUUUGE fan. A little break from bringing this website to life and all! :) Haha. Well anyways, it's all about this guy who writes plays (Depp) named Mr. Barrie, who is having trouble with his home life and his play life. His last play flopped so now, off to a new play! :] Btw, he and his wife sleep in seperate rooms, hhahahah! WHO WOULD DO THAT?! *makes pouty face* Anyways, he meets a widow (Winslet) and her four children, and off to an imaginary er beginning? Yes, yes. A great family thing by the way, nothing bad.

Anyone watched this? Let me know! I shall squeal about it to you, bahaha.
